The BPP
General Features
The BPP Pipe Positioner is purpose-built for precise rotation and tilting of round-profile pipes, ensuring seamless welding performance in pipe construction, prefabrication, and on-site assembly operations.
By rotating the pipe during welding, the BPP enables continuous circumferential welding — eliminating interruptions, improving weld consistency, and dramatically increasing productivity.
As standard, the height adjustment for different pipe diameters is performed manually via handwheel, while optional quick-mounting and detaching systems can be supplied to further streamline setup and changeover.
The BPP model allows tilting from +90° to -90°, offering full control of pipe orientation for ideal welding positions. Its driven unit ensures smooth and stable rotation in both clockwise (CW) and counterclockwise (CCW) directions, at variable and precisely controlled speeds.
Each system includes one driven worktable unit and one idler upper-press unit, ensuring balanced support, reliable clamping, and safe operation even with heavy or long pipes.
